Step 3 - We Mark The Trees

A winding trail in the woods marked with bright orange tape, guiding the way through the lush greenery.

Next, we mark the trees to remain on your property, showing landowners how their forest will look after thinning. We provide time for review and any desired changes.

Step 4 - Thin The Forest

We work with vetted logging contractors, ensuring you get quality work done at a fair rate. The timber goes to the mill, covering our costs and paying you for your timber.

Step 5 - Seed In Pasture

Timbered pasture is at the heart of what we do. It’s the best way to improve elk habitat, helping grow elk populations, while also being highly beneficial for livestock and horses.

Step 6 - Give It Time

With enough time and care, the pastures will come in - and with them, the wildlife. The biggest elk herds in our region are found in pasture and hay fields. That’s why we are so passionate about putting pasture in our forests.
